Your Primary Business

First, you need to establish what you what to sell. In other words, what is your primary business?  It can be an MLM ( Network Marketing) that has specific products, or  Affiliate Marketing (someone else’s products) , or it may be an e-book or a product you have created yourself.

In any case, it must be something you feel passionate about. What do you love, or think has great value? What do want to tell everyone about. If you have a quality product like this, your chances of you being successful will skyrocket.

Now you may not find that your ‘family and friends’ are as excited about all this as you are.  That’s why 98% of Network Marketers fail  They concentrate on making a list of their family & friends and desperately try to get them to some hotel meeting or their companies conference call.  A prophet is never accepted in his one town, Jesus said, and this is true in most cases in this industry as well. Don’t neglect them entirely, but you might want to wait till later when you have some measure of success.
But there are thousands of people that do want or need your product desperately.   How do you find those people?

You need goals, an over all plan on how you are going to run your business on and/or off line and  how to intergate these two together.

Most people start using affiliate marketing.or MLM..selling  someone else’s products.That’s the easiest way to go. Later you may want to develop your own

You must settle on this. You can get ideas from ClickBank see http://clickbank.com

or PayDotCom.com. Pick 1 or 2 things that interest you and you can get excited about and go for it. There is also a company called skaDoogle that you might want to look into. It’s really very exciting… and free too.

Decide on a Marketing SYSTEM

This is important… for  your Online Marketing, you need a Prospecting and Marketing SYSTEM. This is a MUST ! This system is going to get you targeted leads, and then passively you promote  not only your primary business, but any number of other programs to bring you multiple streams of income.  If it is a funded proposal,( an introduction with a   low cost item) then you will be able to make an up front income right away, so that you have some money to work with.   Most systems determine what other programs  you will be promoting, but I recommend those that let you customize the system by picking the programs that  you want to promote

Once you have everything set up then you are able to market only the one link, that of your system. (You may also  market you primary business separately, if you want to.) The leads that you generate from this process will go into your auto responder where they will receive a series of messages from you about your product.  Your primary business becomes you back-end sale.  How cool is that?  Note: some people choose to market their system itself as their primary business and that is ok. In this case the series of messages will be more generic and are geared toward those that are looking for a business opportunity . But usually, your primary business is one that will be bring you monthly residual income . A MLM, Networketing company with consumable products.

How do you know which they are interested in?   ASK !  Ask them in your first or second message if they have a business ,or if they want to start one? Try to get them to respond to you.  Of course , giving them a phone call to welcome  them will bring you the best results.

My System Recommendations

A good system must be simple to understand, contain complete training available to all members, and … here’s the one most folks miss … it must fit YOUR personality as well as the personalities of the PROSPECTS you want to attract.  Studies show that the greater your contact  list, the larger is the potential income it will bring in.  But is not list a cold hard list.  It is a list that you have gotten to know and have a relationship with.  They need to KLT you (know, like and trust you.)

Besides e-mail and website, a Blog or newsletter is a easy way for them to get to know you in a casual non threatening way. Blogger.com is very easy to get started with, but if you’re serious about all this, and want a combination site/blog,then you should probably go with WordPress. org .
